The BTI Institute has postponed conduct of its online courses due to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (USCBP) response to the prolonged, ongoing surge of illegal migrants along the U.S.-Mexico border. We are acutely aware that operational exigencies have made it difficult for our men and women in service to continue their education while working extended hours along the border and away from their homes. Regrettably, this has forced a halt to instruction, as we are unable to consistently attain the minimum number of course attendees needed to conduct courses as structured.
For those interested in participating in future training, you may provide your contact information here. We will contact you when online courses are once again offered.
The BTI Institute and the Cullen College of Engineering’s Technology Division at the University of Houston are partnering, under the guidance of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Office of Training and Development, to develop and offer University of Houston students an opportunity to engage in course work designed to build the foundation for a career in international trade, security, and border management. Careers in this field range from becoming a U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agriculture Specialist to Supply Chain Manager to a Fortune 500 company.
These courses have been developed from the ground up and are offered currently as part of any degree program as elective courses. These courses are facilitated and fully online.
